Q. This seems too good to be true. Is this really legit?

Yes. We have vetted this program and the content of this website through attorneys and tax professionals in both the U.S. and Belize. We can also provide you with a copy of the legislation passed by the Belize government that makes the VIP BZB possible. Without question, the real power behind the VIP BZB is the that there is no tax treaty, and therefore little or no cooperation, between the U.S. and Belize. We recommend that you consult with an experienced offshore financial advisor to best understand how the VIP BZB can benefit you.

Q. Do I have to move to Belize or visit regularly to join the VIP BZB?

No, in fact you don't ever even have to set foot in Belize if you so desire. The Belize government only requires for your international, LLC to have a registered agent and office space, both of which we provide for you as part of your VIP BZB membership.

Q. What additional expenses or investment requirement can I expect beyond my membership dues?

Unless you decide to come for a visit or a vacation, none whatsoever. Your membership covers all of the necessary legal and registration fees to create your international, LLC and keep it compliant (including annual renewal) as well as your fully equipped office space here in Belize which you are welcome to use anytime you come to visit us on a fully tax-deductible vacation. There is no additional investment in real estate or local financial institution required to benefit from the VIP BZB.

Q. What size company do I need to have to qualify for the VIP BZB?

There is no size requirement. The current legislation is even written so that a sole proprietor can take advantage of the benefits of the VIP BZB membership. Your only determining factor on whether to join is that you will realize enough savings to eclipse your annual membership dues. (Example: If you currently earn over $100K per year, your payroll tax savings alone will cover your membership dues and put thousands back in your pocket!)

Q. Is there a limit to the number of employees that can take advantage of a single company VIP BZB membership?

No, there is no limit to the number of employees that can take advantage of your company's VIP BZB membership. For example, you could restructure your company payroll so that your highest earning employees received their compensation via the international, LLC, saving you (and the employee) all federal payroll taxes and company matching. State taxes, where applicable, are still required to be paid. Please consult your experienced offshore tax professional to better understand your specific situation.

Q. Where are the VIP BZB offices located?

Our primary business center location is in the Maya Beach community on the Placencia Peninsula adjacent to The Placencia Hotel in the Copal Building. Plans are currently in the works to move to a new business center location to be opened in San Pedro on Ambergris Caye.

Q. What are the essential things I should know about Belize?

Belize is located at the southern tip of Mexico next to the Caribbean Sea, about a 2-hour flight from multiple airports in the southern U.S., and was formerly known as British Honduras. Belize is the only country in Central America with English as it's official language. The government is democratically elected and stable. Currency conversion is simple: $2 Belize= $1 US. The population is roughly 420,000 and is a melting pot of ethnicities and cultures. While only about the size of Massachusetts, the geography ranges from Caribbean coastline beaches and mangroves to windswept savannas to steep tropical jungle covered mountains. Average temperatures are highs in the 80's and lows in the 70's. It is a well established tax haven and is known for exceptional asset protection and privacy standards in both business and banking circles.

How much is the membership?

Before we can tell you, there is one little piece of legal house keeping. All potential applicants are required to complete a Non-Circumvention and Non-Competition Agreement. Why do we require this? The VIP Business Zone Belize has a substantial investment in both time and money in the creation of the legislation that makes our business possible. As a result, we require that you treat this information as proprietary and agree not to go around us or try to compete with us for a period of at least 15 months from the date of the agreement.

Once we receive your completed NCNCA, we will immediately send you all of the proprietary information on our organization including the membership dues and a complete copy of the Belize law that created the VIP BZB.
